Receipts: 1,540 Last Week: 4,998 Last Year: 2,473
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers not well tested
for Current FOB trades but a higher undertone is noted. Demand again
very good as slaughter cattle prices and beef prices both gained ground
again this week. Supply consisted of 100 percent over 600 lbs; 27
Percent
heifers. Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB with a 2-3 Percent shrink
or equivalent and with a 8-12 cent slide on calves and 4-8 cent slide on
yearlings from base weight.
