National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,559 lbs at 234.07 heifers 1,365 lbs at 234.22. Dressed
delivered steers 1017 lbs at 362.52, heifers 881 lbs at 362.22. Weekly
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 1.88 lower at 365.25
and Select 0.20 lower at 346.56.
National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average compared to
last week, Early weaned pigs and feeder pigs steady. Mostly moderate demand and
moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 64.36; 40 lbs cash basis 80.01.
Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was n/a.
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 70.70 450-499 lbs 80.71, and 500-549 lbs
80.13.
